The FBIPCAAA is recognizing Cyber Security Awareness Month by welcoming Jonathan and Erin from the NAU Cyber Security Department to help us understand the steps to take to help us protect ourselves and those around us from online identity theft, scams, and online predators.   

Learn some of the steps on how to protect yourself from online predators and identity thieves.  This will also help protect those around you. In an ever-growing online world, it is imperative that everyone knows how to take action to protect themselves and take measures to prevent becoming a victim of an online attack. Q & A period will follow the presentation.

Speaker Bio


Jonathan A. Wince, Identity and Security Specialist 
Jonathan is an identity and security specialist that specializes in open-source intelligence (OSINT), online investigations, data breach analysis, threat assessment, and the protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). He has been working in the realm of information technology and information security for the better part of his 13-year career. His unique and intimate knowledge of identity theft has led him to working with and assisting others with preventing their own identity theft.   


Erin Plese, Security and Data Compliance Analyst 
Erin is a data classification and integrity specialist, who works to support the integrity and auditing compliance of secure and sensitive information. Her vast wealth of knowledge in the proper handling and management of information lends itself to assisting others with how to better protect their own sensitive information.
